A chalice under the Apuan Alps

A centuries-old tradition of vine cultivation that has come down to the present day in the restored Rocca
Athe foothills of the Apuan Alps, in the Lucido Valley, the highest quality grapes are born, resulting in elegant, structured, complex wines with great aging potential and, above all, that are a pure expression of this area.
At Monte de'Bianchi, there are records of a monastery as early as the 12th century, where the canonical friars regular, also called Frati Bianchi because of the color of their habit and also because of a certain moral ethic quite different from the corruption prevalent in monastic circles at the time, were called to manage its activities. Vine cultivation, begun then, has spanned centuries of local history, and today Giorgio and his collaborators represent the continuation of the tradition.
During this experience, you will be guided through a tasting of the winery's wines and can sample typical Lunigiana products, thus discovering the food and wine tradition that makes this corner of eastern Lunigiana unique.
