H aroused curiosity, generated buzz and now the first commercial for Miele della Lunigiana DOP, the first of the (new) Eco Productions, is online. Say Fabio Venè and Marco Cavallotti, president and director, respectively, of the PDO Protection Consortium: "We are happy because even before the publication of the video, Lunigiana has united around this product: it is as if it has really responded to our invitation." The invitation was (and is) to become ambassadors of Miele della Lunigiana DOP, the first DOP honey in Italy and still the only Tuscan DOP honey, the spearhead of a shared path, both productive and agricultural.

"In 72-second spot we try to tell just that: on the one hand the strong connection with the territory, on the other hand the whole process. From the apiaries to the potting, before the arrival to the public, at the moment in the traditional acacia and chestnut variants, online, through producers, retail outlets, GDO." The video, in the beginning spread via web and social of theEcho of Lunigiana and the Consortium, is just one of the relaunch actions put in place in such an important year: in a 20-year anniversary year of the PDO. "What we asked, from the 'new' Eco team, was to create an effective, incisive, fresh product. Something with
to develop our online presence, something we could take on the road."

The video is an Eco Production for Consorzio di Tutela del Miele della Lunigiana DOP with filming and editing by Jacopo Grassi and a team effort featuring Francesca Fontana on communication and coordination; Diego Remaggi on media management; and Simone Ricciardi on voice, from actor and radio speaker. "The choice to rely on local professionals is part of the operations we are carrying out: it responds to the desire to collaborate more and better with Lunigiana, a space of origin and 'first playground.'" In conclusion, what the Consortium is now doing is to bring the value of Miele della Lunigiana DOP to as many people as possible.
