T’he 2026 edition of the Lunigiana International Music Festival has begun; the festival, which runs from 16 to 26 July, brings young musicians and leading figures from the world of modern classical music to Fivizzano. As well as attending courses and workshops, the 52 students, hailing from over 22 countries, will, together with their tutors, take centre stage at concerts held in the region’s most evocative venues: churches, museums, parish churches…

The public will be able to attend events dedicated to classical music, opera, Baroque music and chamber music, as part of an artistic programme designed to showcase the historical, architectural and scenic heritage of the Lunigiana. Please note that admission to the concerts is free, but booking is required.

Now in its ninth year, the event is organised by the APS “Amici del Lunigiana International Music Festival” in Fivizzano, in collaboration with Fivizzano Town Council, the Chamber of Commerce, Toscana Nord Ovest, the Rotary Club Lunigiana and Merrion Charles Private Travel Consultant.
