Lhe Lunigiana, a land of castles, fortified villages and breathtaking landscapes is transformed into an open-air stage where history comes to life. The historical re-enactments of the Lunigiana summer are much more than folkloric events: they represent an authentic plunge into the past, an exciting journey among ladies, knights, medieval markets and ancient traditions that come to life again thanks to the passion of hundreds of figurants.

Participating in these events is not just about watching performances-it is a way to experience history firsthand. Visitors can wear period costumes, participate in medieval craft workshops, taste traditional local dishes and discover the secrets of centuries-old castles.

Between June and September, several Lunigiana municipalities host historical re-enactments that engage residents and visitors in an immersive and fascinating experience.
