On March 31, a delegation from theLunigiana Tourist Operators Association, as a member of the DMO of the Tourism Area, participated in the 2025 edition of BITESP, the experiential tourism exchange held for the second year at the Cruise Terminal in La Spezia. It was an opportunity to meet with over thirty tour operators from Italy and Europe, as well as from North and South America.

"We promoted Lunigiana," commented Giovanna Zurlo, Barbara Maffei and Marta Franciosi, representatives of the associations that participated in the event, "but above all the member facilities that have supported us for many years. It was a very fruitful day, we found a lot of interest in our area, its outdoor and food and wine offerings."

The meetings were held in B2B mode, putting supply in direct contact with demand, and the tour operators, who often work with groups of just a few people, perfect for the local receptive reality, expressed their willingness to deepen their knowledge of Lunigiana and explore the possibilities for the construction of packages to be proposed on the market

The event was also an opportunity to strengthen the Area Ligure Apuana (ALA) project, a vast area of more than 60 municipalities that includes tourist areas such as Cinque Terre, the Gulf of Poets, Val di Vara, Riviera Apuana and Garfagnana, a very important opportunity for the Lunigiana tourism sector and in which our Association wants to carve out a position as a local reference.
